Wifi Zona

If your not in a wifi zone but you don't know and you get on safari with your iPhone, are you charged?

I have an iPod touch and I'm planning to switch to an iPhone. I also have wifi at my house. If I wanted to use wifi to get on safari but the wifi was off and I didn't know, would I get charged for going on the Internet w/o wifi or would I get some sort of notice letting me know I would be charged if I continued?

1. You have to pay 30 dollar to use the 3g network. So no you are not charged.
2. Whe you buy the iPhone, the $30/month data plan is required. This gives you unlimited access to the 3G network.
